Keys To China

I am a Senior Business Manager / Executive and Engineer with recent Operational/Strategic P&L experience ($44M - US) in a Multi-National Offshore Company. I am an experienced Expat who has been living abroad for more than 5 years now as well. I have always been a strong leader who leads by example and imparting value to others. My tenets of management are Firm, Friendly and Fair.

I am currently living in Foshan , China with my lovely Chinese wife and I am working furiously to learn Mandarin Chinese while teaching business English and engaging local businesses in improving manufacturing and sales in for western markets. I have acquired only basic Mandarin so far but I am quite confident in my future fluency and study at least one hour each day in that pursuit.

I have been travelling to China since 2005 and actually moved here and took up residence July '09. As such is am well immersed in the local business and living cultures which are closely coupled here.

As a Strategic Ops Manager with many years of Multi-cultural Teambuilding, Project Management and Corporate Change Management experience, I am confident in my abilities to function highly effectively in any global business environment.
