Description

The Director of Sales & Marketing for The Company will be report to the CEO and responsible for increasing market share, work with the SVP of Sales to increase the overall profitability of The Company and maintain cutting edge and up-to-date market & industry information to ensure the competitiveness for the sales & Marketing teams in the US and Asian markets. 

 

Expectations and compensation

A successful Director of Sales & Marketing is expected to increase THE COMPANY’s market share in the Americas and Asian as well nurturing innovative development at a competitive level for THE COMPANY industry.  To incentives achieving these objectives, the Director of Sales & Marketing’s compensation would comprise of large variable compensation level, based on a predetermined number of Key Performance Indicators (KPI).

 

Key Performance Indicators would established for all significant aspect, such as 

1.      Achieving company financial goals, such as sales, expense budgets and net profit,

2.      Achieving THE COMPANY geographical and product sales market strategy in the Americas and Asia,

3.      Maintaining development efficiency by fulfilling product time-to-market of new product development,

4.      Maintaining competiveness of new product development, by achieving product market share targets,

5.      Improving in production and procurement costs, without comprising production quality, inventory level and overall customer product satisfaction,

6.      Organizational development, such as increased productivity, attaining and developing key employees and maintaining employee satisfaction.

 

Requirements

·         Extensive experience working with Semiconductor or Manufacturing industries required

·         Experience working with the Asian market required and ability to established new sites and working with customer highly preferred. 

·         7+ years experience in Sales & Marketing with extensive experience in market research

·         Bachelor in Marketing/International Business or other related fields required with MBA/Masters highly preferred

·         5+ years of General Management experience for a development, production and sales facility,

·         Strong leader capabilities,

·         Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.

·         Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) required and ability to speak Japanese preferred

·         This position will required at least 50% of international travel to manufacturing sites as well as some travel to client’s sites (mainly in Asia).
