Director of Product Marketing in Beijing
A Beijing-based well-funded consumer electronics company is looking for a proactive product marketing professional with a total 10+ years work experience including 3+ years of PM experience working under a well-structured and disciplined product launch process at a product/technology-driven multinational company, preferably in the consumer electronics industry, to lead a product marketing team responsible for the entire “womb to tomb” PLC process.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyze and define market demand
- Conceptualize and define product features and customer benefits
- Deliver product roadmap and MRD, which defines the entire “marketing mix”
- Coordinate internal and external resources to define, develop and launch new products
- Overall project management in executing MRDs
- Provide training to sales and distribution channel members
- Monitor sales and gross margin; initiate price changes and promotion programs
- Initiate proposals and coordinate activities to modify, upgrade, or EOL products
Qualifications include:
- Full PLC management experience and has delivered multiple MRDs
- Good understanding of major corporate functions (Engineering, Marcom, Sales, Operations, Finance….) and experienced in working with them
- Strong leadership skills in a matrix team environment
- Details oriented with strong project management skills
- Keen sense of market and technology trend
- Proactive and results-driven
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- EE degree with 3+ years in marketing, or MBA degree with 5+ years experience, at technology-driven companies.
- Fluent in Chinese and English.
